    Remembering my late mother this Mother's Day was very heart warming, since she's gone for a long time but still I was longing for her because our bond since birth was undeniable, she was always there at my side and nurtured me until I grow into an adult. My mother is very strict and disciplinarian.     When  i finished my college while working as a janitor of Toledo National Vocational School, my mother was always there at my side and attended my college graduation without my father because he passed away when i was 19 years old. I became a breadwinner of the family and support my brother and sister when my sister finished her college that's the time I feel I became free and learned some vices like gambling and drinking. When I am out with friends for a drinking spree my mother always waited for me to come home even until dawn, but she never get mad she always advice that there is no good in drinking.       One day she was sick and diagno...

The Holy Week "Awakening"

As Christians, we celebrate the death of our savior Jesus Christ who saved us from sins. The life of Jesus was written in the bible, we have to believe because it was the true testament that Jesus really exists.

Many preachers, pastors, and priests spread the teachings of Jesus because they have the passion to do so, or maybe it's their willingness to serve God.

How about if we believe that God is an Alien? Many scientists trying to explore our neighboring planets in search of alien life, but still, there's no evidence of human-like creatures exist. Our simple understanding as human beings cannot fathom the mysteries of our existence. If God indeed an Alien who controls the whole universe we don't know for now, unless God the father himself descended from heaven.

When God gave us his only begotten son, Jesus to guide us not to fall into the darkness of sins. The baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist is a confirmation that he was a son of God. During his baptism the heaven was open and a Holy Spirit appeared in a form of a dove and a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased.” Mathew 3:17.

Do you believe that the Second coming of Jesus is near? The judgment day in which the dead be awakened?

When we die the memory stored in our brain erased like a corrupted computer CPU all the data and files are gone. Some believe that our spirit is the backup storage of our memory when our brain is dead. It is believed that death is the first process of separating our human body into the spiritual realm.

Every one of us billionaire, millionaire, and ordinary people have our responsibility to contribute, even animals and insects have their own role in our ecosystem. If animals and humans did not exist on this planet it becomes deserted and barren. Insects and animals have a spirit? Like believing that human beings have a spirit, we do not know yet.

Many of us are religious go to church every Sunday,  but after the mass nothing change, we cannot change our real attitude. The sanctity of the priest sermons never penetrates deep inside our soul. The rich and famous and successful people are the ones who always present in the church and also the ones who give huge donations regardless of their religion. Those who are less privileged are seldom going to church not because they are not religious, but because they have other priorities. Jesus once said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven". Matthew 5:3

What is the real meaning of the Holy Week it does not mean that those rich people will give their richness to the poor? Being rich is chosen by God, the early people who ruled the world like kings and queens are rich people, but Jesus loved them not because they are rich but because they have a genuine heart who loves the poor. The sacrifices and suffering of Jesus in Golgotha that cost his life is an offering gesture of his infinite love to all of us. Do not love money, fame, and the insatiable appetite for success because it's temporary, the most important thing is we leave the legacy of goodness that people never forget when we are gone in this world.

    Buswang Elementary School is located in the outskirts of the Toledo City a sitio of Barangay Cambang-ug it is surrounded by mountains and rivers. The former principal Ma. Hazel M. Godornes was transferred to Bunga Elementary School she was replaced by the new school head Mr. Fernando E. Kilag from Cambang-ug Elementary School.     The road is very rough, passing in this kind of terrain is very challenging especially in rainy season the road is very slippery. The river is also a major concern of the residence living in Buswang they cannot cross the river during heavy flooding and also for the teachers is the same sentiments. The local barangay officials did nothing to alleviate the problems many are asking that the bridge could be built for their easy access.     The means of transportation of barangay Buswang is a motorcyacle or "Habal-habal", The fare is not cheap it cost you 200.00 pesos per ride.
