BUSWANG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

    Buswang Elementary School is located in the outskirts of the Toledo City a sitio of Barangay Cambang-ug it is surrounded by mountains and rivers. The former principal Ma. Hazel M. Godornes was transferred to Bunga Elementary School she was replaced by the new school head Mr. Fernando E. Kilag from Cambang-ug Elementary School.     The road is very rough, passing in this kind of terrain is very challenging especially in rainy season the road is very slippery. The river is also a major concern of the residence living in Buswang they cannot cross the river during heavy flooding and also for the teachers is the same sentiments. The local barangay officials did nothing to alleviate the problems many are asking that the bridge could be built for their easy access.     The means of transportation of barangay Buswang is a motorcyacle or "Habal-habal", The fare is not cheap it cost you 200.00 pesos per ride. Osmeña Blvd. Cebu City  Cebu City, Philippines, April 15, 2021, the scene during my fieldwork and official travel to pay our monthly payment of services, loans, premiums, and other transactions, d espite the pandemic business as usual as you can see many vehicles passing by and traffic were imminent in the downtown. BIR Office The first office that I visited, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Talisay, Cebu City, to submit BIR Form 1905 to update the tax remitting agency of the newly hired employee. One down and need four more offices to transact, from BIR office I need to ride a bus to reach my second destination the GSIS Office. GSIS Building The second stop, the Government Service Insurance System ( GSIS) Regional office, to  pick up the official receipt of the premiums paid since we are advised to pay directly to the bank as  precautionary measures of the COVID 19 restrictions and to avoid long lines at the GSIS counter.
