Being promoted to the next position is a big bonus for me because I can still enjoy my hobby of bike riding. I can ride a bicycle almost every day to work. I don't have to plan my daily ride because it is the means of my transportation for 40 minutes going to work and 30 minutes going back home. As a fitness enthusiast, I can still enjoy the benefits of exercise while at work. Mountain biking is one of the best cardio workouts, it helps relieve stress-related illnesses, help burns fats, maintains weight, and improved red blood cells to carry more oxygen in our blood. I am very thankful to the previous superintendent Dr. Orlando G. Cadano who assigned me here at Malubog Elementary School. Many say it is very far they told me to buy a motorcycle but I bought a Mountain Bike instead. I love this place because this is the birthplace of my father. Late Afternoon Run - With Stability Shoes


It was a dry Tuesday afternoon with no rain expected on that day, I change my clothes from work to running attire, It was habitual for me to run every other day at the school oval after my work, but the schedule of my regular run was hampered by the pandemic... Besides, the oval was wet and muddy due to successive rain for the past 6 months, tall grasses grow everywhere, and running was not ideal in that condition. But now it's summertime the grasses began to welt and trimmed by grass-eating animals like cows, and a group of men with lawnmowers courtesy of the Local Government.

Conditioned your mind before you run to pump up some adrenalin:

I was encouraged to run again while looking at the scenery of the school oval with a good ambiance because it's dry and not muddy. At the start of my run, I breathe heavily and felt my feet and body was heavy, at the slow start I gain my momentum and completed a 2.8 kilometer run for 7 rounds of the oval. It was a very refreshing feeling after my run, after cooling down I change my wet clothes before heading home. 

Choosing a schedule of your running activities:

  • Early Morning run - An early morning run is a bit simpler during weekends since you owned your time nothing to worry about work. Before you run It is favorable to take a bath first because it gives you fresh and cooler feelings when your run progresses our body temperature also increases and the sun became increasingly hot if you take a long run.
  • Late Afternoon run - Running in the late afternoon on weekdays gives you some benefits compared to an early morning run because in the morning your time is limited especially if you are working, while in the afternoon it gives you more time for adjustment. A cool environment in the afternoon boosts your running energy and nothing to worry about heat exhaustion since the sun already sets and also taking a bath is not necessary after your run except if you have some other appointments.
  • Early Evening run - If your time is not available in the afternoon, why not run in the evening, but probably you are running on the road with many vehicles passing by. Reflective running gear is necessary so that incoming vehicles can easily spot you. During the night cool air gives you an extra mile or kilometer of your run.

Wearing comfortable running shoes helps your run smoothly and conveniently. You can choose many brands according to your likes you can order online or visit the mall since it's pandemic a social distancing is advised buying online is the best option.
